Hello! I’m Kristian, the founder and owner of LYBY Boutique.
If you had told me years ago that I would own a women’s clothing store, I might not have believed you. By trade, I am an engineer. I spent years working in fields with strict dress codes, hard hats, and rigid rules.
But I quickly realized something important: I didn't want to lose myself in the uniform.
I started finding ways to dress that complied with the rules but still celebrated my femininity. The result was life-changing. When I walked into a meeting feeling like myself, I had the confidence to conquer the room.
That is how LYBY was born. It stands for
Love Yourself, Be Yourself.
Why "LYBY Curves"?
This isn’t just business; it’s personal. As a woman, I know that life happens and bodies change. I remember the frustration of searching for stylish, high-quality clothes in my size (XL) and coming up empty.
I built LYBY to solve that problem. whether you are a size Small or a 3X, you deserve clothes that make you feel powerful, not just "covered up."
From Newcomers to Locals: Our Love Letter to Albuquerque
My family and I moved to Albuquerque just over a year ago, and we fell in love instantly. This city welcomed us with open arms.
On one of our first date nights, my husband and I visited the historic El Vado Tap Room. Sitting there, surrounded by local culture, history, and happy people, I knew: This is where LYBY belongs.
Today, I am proud to have our storefront right here in El Vado Plaza, along historic Route 66.
